Polycare BOXA Changemaker Center Building

BOXA Changemaker Center

The Changemaker centre is a learn/work/play space used as an early child development classroom in the mornings, adult education and teacher training later in the day as well as a meeting & workshop space in between. The centre is built entirely from innovative & sustainable building materials, including Polycare’s walling system.

Polycare RehoCourt Worker

RehoCourt

RehoCourt is a residential development of 8 units developed for the affordable housing market in Rehoboth, a town 90km away from the capital city Windhoek. Professional fees were reduced through architectural designs, construction drawings and a Bill of Quantities which was all done though Polycare’s inhouse design team.

Ablution Blocks Sanitation Polycare BOXA South Africa

BOXA Enviro Loo

The Enviroloo’s are the toilets for the Changemaker centre, designed to be as eco-friendly and resource efficient as possible. Rainwater is collected in a small water tank below the construction, which is then made accessible by using a small solar powered pump for flushing and hand washing purposes.

Community Church

This project was a charity project built to give the people in the Mt. Etjo area access to their own church built from Polyblocks. ​Previously, their space was limited to an old shipping container, today they have a safe, spacious and well-designed space to gather to.

Polycare Nadja Phillips Private House

Phillips House

The Phillips family are the first residents of a Polycare home.​ The project was part of testing the social acceptance of Polycare technology in 2016, rebuilding the Polyblock’s from the display house into another form for a family to live in. The Namibian Government chose the Phillips family as a recipient of the donation, where the family of 8 now lives for the past 5 years.
